The legendary medieval treatise “The Hammer of the Witches”, written by the ideologists of the Holy Inquisition Jacob Sprenger and Heinrich Institoris at the end of the 15th century, is the first guide in the history of mankind for the extermination of their own kind, based on the otherness of them. The work combines theoretical justification and practical guidance for searching for heresies, conducting interrogations, and defines the technology of torture of witches and heretics. The treaty actually regulated the hunting of people. Centuries later, the work remains the most curious (and terrible) document of the era.

Дослідження темряви людської природи

Книга "Молот відьом" – це не просто історичний трактат, а справжній погляд у темряву людської природи та жорстокість, з якою суспільство може ставитися до тих, хто відрізняється від нього. Автори, Яків Шпренгер та Генріх Інститорис, майстерно поєднують теорію та практику, створюючи посібник, що регламентує полювання на "єретиків" та "відьом". Читання цієї книги викликає змішані почуття – від жаху до захоплення, адже вона відкриває очі на жорстокі реалії минулого, які, на жаль, досі мають місце в нашому світі. Переклад, виконаний за допомогою штучного інтелекту, в цілому якісний, хоча й містить деякі недоліки. Проте, це не зменшує цінності самого тексту. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією, психологією та соціологією, адже вона спонукає до роздумів про те, як страх і невігластво можуть призводити до жахливих наслідків.
