The elderly orc shaman Ner'zhul once again leads the Horde, and he reopens the Dark Portal. His ruthless warriors once again invade Azeroth, laying siege to the newly built Netherguard Fortress. From there, Archmage Khadgar and the commander-in-chief of the Alliance forces, Turalyon, unite the people and their allies - the Elves and Dwarves - to stop the new invasion. But even so, new troubling questions arise before them. Khadgar notices that there is more behind this invasion: a small group of Orcs no longer seem interested in conquering this world. Things get even worse when the Black Dragons enter the scene and they seem happy to help the Orcs. To thwart Ner'zhul's dark plans, the Alliance must invade the devastated homeland of the orcs - Draenor. Will Khadgar and his comrades be able to stop the despicable shaman in time to prevent the destruction of both worlds?
