Вражаюча та глибока книга про рак

"Цар усіх хвороб" – це не просто наукова праця, а справжня епопея, що досліджує складні та багатогранні відносини людства з раком. Автор зумів з'єднати особисті історії людей, які борються з цією страшною хворобою, з історичними фактами та науковими досягненнями в лікуванні раку. Книга охоплює різні етапи пізнання цієї хвороби, від давніх часів до сучасності, і показує, як змінювалися уявлення про рак та способи його лікування. Дуже цікаво читати про конфлікти інтересів у медицині та науці, які часто заважають прогресу в боротьбі з раком. Незважаючи на те, що текст перекладено з використанням штучного інтелекту, якість перекладу в цілому досить висока, хоча іноді трапляються незначні недоліки. Ця книга змушує задуматися про наше співіснування з цією хворобою та відкриває нові горизонти для розуміння раку.
