Повість «Протистояння» Ю. С. Семенова – це справжній витвір мистецтва в жанрі детективу, який не залишає байдужим. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи гостросюжетного трилера з глибоким аналізом роботи радянської міліції, що робить сюжет не лише цікавим, але й повчальним. Полковник Костенко, як головний герой, вражає своєю мужністю та рішучістю, а його боротьба з рецидивістом Миколою Кротовим тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча текст книги перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у перекладі, загалом це не заважає насолоджуватися читанням. Рекомендую цю повість всім, хто любить детективи з глибоким сюжетом і сильними персонажами!
