Неперевершене поєднання пригод і натуралістики!

Джеральд Даррелл, як завжди, вражає своїм гумором та спостережливістю, описуючи свої захоплюючі подорожі тропічними лісами Західної Африки. Його вміння передавати емоції і характер тварин робить читання не тільки пізнавальним, але й надзвичайно цікавим. Я відчував, ніби сам перебуваю серед джунглів, спостерігаючи за життям дивовижних істот. Хоча переклад іноді має незначні недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від книги.
