The near future. Fifteen years have passed since the collapse of the Russian state. A neutral territory has been created along the Volga River and its surroundings, from which the population has been evicted, but in some places people still survive. The main character is a young guy who lives in a village called Bolotnaya Roshcha, on the territory of the Volga floodplain, which has now turned into dull swamps. By chance, the hero ends up in the abandoned city of Volgograd and learns that the city is not so dead, and is fraught with secrets, which, having learned, can pay with your life... The work is not a direct continuation of “Lights of the Dead City,” but echoes it in some moments and happens in the same places, many years later...

Захоплююча подорож у постапокаліптичний світ

Книга "На нічийній річці" вражає своєю атмосферою та глибоким зануренням у світ, де колись процвітала цивілізація, а тепер залишилися лише руїни та таємниці. Автор майстерно малює картину майбутнього, де людство намагається вижити в умовах, що змінилися до невпізнаваності. Головний герой, потрапивши в покинуте місто Волгоград, стикається з небезпекою та загадками, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Мені сподобалася глибина персонажів і їхні переживання, які роблять цю історію ще більш емоційною. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що призвело до деяких незначних недоліків у формулюваннях, це не заважає загальному сприйняттю твору. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить постапокаліптичні сюжети та глибокі філософські роздуми про людську природу в умовах виживання.
