Jean-Marie Gustave Leclezio, one of the greatest living French writers, won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2008. He is the author of thirty books - these are novels, stories, essays, articles. For the first time, two stories by Leclezio - “The Storm” and “The Woman from Nowhere” - are published in Russian. The action of the first takes place on an island lost in the Sea of Japan, the other - in Cote d'Ivoire and the Parisian suburbs. The heroines are teenage girls who are desperate to find their place in an inhospitable, hostile world. Leclezio, probably the least Parisian writer, who lived for a long time in South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, Japan and on his native island of Mauritius, again writes about how a person who grew up in the lap of pristine nature feels in an oppressive space modern civilization.

Вражаюча подорож у світ пошуків ідентичності

Книга "Жінка нізвідки" – це справжній шедевр, який переносить читача у глибини душі двох молодих героїнь, що намагаються знайти своє місце в світі, який здається їм ворожим і непривітним. Леклезіо майстерно малює картини природи Кот-д'Івуару та паризького передмістя, контрастуючи первозданну красу з холодом сучасної цивілізації. Його стиль написання пронизаний емоціями, і читач відчуває кожен біль і радість героїнь. Хоча переклад тексту може містити деякі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися глибиною і змістом твору. Ця книга змушує замислитися про важливість коріння, самовизначення та пошуку свого місця у світі. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує літературу, що торкається глибоких тем і людських переживань!
