2005, the USA and the USSR are on the brink of war. Against the backdrop of a tense political climate, a giant asteroid appears in near-Earth space. NASA, NATO and the UN expedition have been sent to explore it. Patricia Vasquez, a young mathematician, is one of the leaders of the expedition, and it is she who reveals the secret of the asteroid. It turns out that the asteroid, called “Pushinka”, is a spaceship. Inside “Pushinka” there are seven huge chambers, six of them contain forests, lakes, rivers and abandoned cities, and in the seventh, scientists discovered a strange device... The novel “Eon” and its sequel “Immortality” are described by the “Encyclopedia of Science Fiction” as “probably , the best cosmological epic ever written,” was later followed by a prequel, “The Inheritance.” The dilogy “Forge of God” and “Anvil of the Stars” creates a picture of the death and subsequent re-creation of the Earth.

Неймовірна подорож у космос і людську природу!

Роман "Еон" - це справжній шедевр наукової фантастики, який вражає своєю глибиною та оригінальністю. Автор майстерно поєднує політичну напругу 2005 року з захоплюючим сюжетом про відкриття, яке може змінити хід історії. Патриція Васкес, як головна героїня, є яскравим прикладом сили та рішучості, і її подорож у таємничий астероїд "Пушинка" захоплює з перших сторінок. Описані ліси, озера та покинуті міста всередині астероїда створюють неймовірну атмосферу та спонукають до роздумів про людську природу, технології та наше місце у Всесвіті. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією. "Еон" - це не просто книга, це емоційна подорож, що залишає слід у серці. Рекомендую всім любителям наукової фантастики та тим, хто шукає глибокі роздуми про людство і його майбутнє!
