Book Curse of the Bronze Lamp
This work, written in 1945, is rightfully considered one of the best novels by the master of impossible crimes. The investigation in the book is led by a rather colorful figure, Sir Henry Merrivale. This hero is found in D.D. Carr's books written under the pseudonym Carter Dixon. Already from the first line, DDK captivates the reader: “In the living room of a hotel apartment in Cairo, a girl and a young man were waiting for the phone to ring. Without being the beginning of history, this scene was the beginning of horror."
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
