The world of the annotated story is a fantasy about how the situation on the planet could change in the future if the events described in the story “Enge” actually happened. “Enge” was written by the same person; “Overtime” (in the author’s first version) is even preceded by a quote from the “prequel”. The free sequel is based on the vicissitudes of the fate of a simple policeman named Rinat. He lives in the distant future, where hallucinators (aka g-modulators), turning people's fantasies into reality, have become everyday life. The background of the story generally smacks of utopianism, but rather, it seems to be something that is emphasized and intensified throughout the entire plot, from the very first line to the very last. And the main character fully feels this - gradually, but inevitably - because something inexplicable is added to his usual problems, such as quarrels with his wife and the threat to his life from bandits. The world around Rinat is starting to go crazy... Or maybe Rinat himself has gone crazy? Or maybe... And in this reality, which some are trying to destroy in the most direct sense, and others are selflessly saving, it seems that anything can happen...

The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
