So, the basic idea for this book came to me many years ago. Jesus fasts in the desert for forty days and nights, tempted by the Devil; narration in the style of Odd Couple - "The Odd Couple". Some ideas just settle in your head and won't leave you alone.

But I haven't seen anyone who would buy it. And then along came Christopher Golden, who wanted stories written from the Bad Guy's point of view. I screamed “YES!”, punched the air, and wrote the whole thing in less than two hours. I think the material turned out worthy of the original. It's all about how you look at it.
