Вражаюча та важлива книга про епоху холодної війни!

"Мертва рука" - це не просто історичний нарис, а глибоке дослідження теми, яка досі залишається актуальною. Девід Е. Хоффман майстерно поєднує факти, спогади та інтерв'ю, щоб створити захоплюючу оповідь про те, як завершилася гонка озброєнь. Книга відкриває нові горизонти розуміння внутрішніх мотивів політиків, вчених та військових, які стояли на передовій цієї небезпечної епохи. Особливо вражає, як автор детально описує спадщину ядерної, хімічної та біологічної зброї, яка досі становить загрозу для людства. Прочитавши цю книгу, я відчув, що отримав не лише знання, а й новий погляд на історію, яка формує наше сьогодення.
