Corey Callahan was supposed to be the star of her college hockey team, but due to a tragic accident, she found herself confined to a wheelchair. Adam Hartley is the only one who can somehow understand her feelings, because he, too, is forced to give up sports because of complex leg fracture. Just the sight of Hartley causes Cory's heart to beat as if it's about to jump out of his chest. They understand each other without words and seem to be simply created to be together. If it weren’t for one “but”: Hartley has a girlfriend, and Corey is just a friend for him, with whom he can laugh until he gets colic and play video games.
