Book Intellectuals and Power: Selected political articles, speeches and interviews. Part 2
M. Foucault’s book “Intellectuals and Power,” Part 2, is a continuation of the publication of selected political works by one of the major French thinkers of the 20th century, begun by Praxis publishing house in 2003. Part 2 collects articles, interviews, and roundtables from 1971 to 1982, in which Foucault continues to explore the questions that defined his work throughout his life: What is the relationship between power and knowledge embodied in modern legal institutions? What is “state interest”? And finally, what is modern political rationality, how did it arise, and how does it differ from the political models of the past? The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
