The Worlds of Harry Harrison series was published from 1993 to 1995. This was the time of the undivided power of the series “Death World” and “Steel Rat”. There simply weren’t any other SF series, so everyone had to read these, and Garrison himself became incredibly popular among Russian readers. In those years, only Zelazny could compete with his popularity. And even though this collection of works is no longer complete, it still remains unsurpassed in volume. Initially, the publication was planned on white paper with colored inserts, two for each novel, but in later volumes, due to the onset of the economic crisis, they had to be abandoned and the books began to be printed on plain paper with only black and white drawings on titles. The books in this series did not contain annotations.

The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.

Неперевершене видання для шанувальників наукової фантастики!

Книга «Світи Гаррі Гаррісона. Том 14» — це справжнє свято для всіх фанатів цього видатного автора. Серія, яка виходила в 90-х, стала культовою, і цей том не є винятком. Гаррісон вміло поєднує елементи пригод, гумору та філософських роздумів, що робить його твори надзвичайно цікавими для читання. Хоча книга не містить анотацій, це не заважає їй бути захоплюючою, адже кожен розділ відкриває нові горизонти та можливості. Якість перекладу, незважаючи на використання штучного інтелекту, вражає, хоча іноді зустрічаються незначні неточності. Це видання, безумовно, варте уваги, і я рекомендую його всім, хто хоче зануритися в світ фантастичних пригод та незабутніх персонажів Гаррі Гаррісона!
