The book is narrated on behalf of the devil, who imbues young Adolf with anger, exaltation and self-confidence. Вражаюче дослідження темряви людської природи

Книга "Лісовий замок" Нормана Мейлера - це не просто біографія Адольфа Гітлера, а глибоке дослідження темряви, що ховається в душі людини. Оповідь від імені диявола надає твору особливого шарму і змушує читача задуматися над питаннями зла, влади та впливу на формування особистості. Мейлер майстерно описує юність Гітлера, його внутрішні конфлікти та зростаючу самовпевненість, що врешті-решт призводить до катастрофічних наслідків. Ця книга змушує нас замислитися над тим, як обставини, виховання та суспільство можуть формувати монстрів. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, загальна якість і глибина ідей роблять цю книгу важливою для розуміння не лише історії, але й психології людини. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією та філософією
