The book will be of interest to philologists of all specialties, psychologists, ethnographers, historians, philosophers, students and graduate students of humanities faculties, as well as everyone who studies the language and is interested in its problems.

For a complete understanding of the book, it is desirable to know the basics of English grammar. However, most phrases in English are provided with a Russian translation.

Книга Стівена Пінкера "Мова як інстинкт" є справжнім відкриттям для всіх, хто цікавиться лінгвістикою та психологією. Автор майстерно поєднує наукові факти з живими прикладами, що робить читання не лише пізнавальним, але й захоплюючим. Пінкер піднімає важливі питання про природу мови, її еволюцію та вплив на наше мислення. Його стиль викладу легкий і зрозумілий, що дозволяє навіть тим, хто не є експертом у цій галузі, насолоджуватися текстом. Книга містить безліч цікавих фактів, які змушують задуматися про те, як мова формує наше сприйняття світу. Хоча деякі фрази можуть бути некоректно перекладені, загальне враження від книги залишається позитивним.
