The stories turned out to be difficult: sometimes very funny, because cats in the house (okay, and dogs) are a great joy. But every animal has its own time, one day it dies, and then we, people, are in great pain. Because it doesn’t matter who you give your heart to - a person, a cat, a dog - loss is loss. I would like to dedicate this book to all the cats (okay, and dogs) that we have loved. They walked through our hearts on soft paws and went to the land of happy hunting to frolic among voles and birds. And we stayed here so that one day we can open the door again and let another cat (okay, or a dog) into the house, because without them, is this life? Martha Ketro
