My book is my attempt to reconstruct Shakespeare’s intention and change the currently accepted “Hamlet” paradigm. I had no intention of finding something unknown to anyone in “Hamlet.” Since I couldn’t finish reading any of the translations in one sitting, I wanted to make a new one. But the further I got involved in the work, the more surprising the feeling of the gap between the English text and its classical interpretations became. It seems that Hamlet remained Hamlet, and Claudius remained Claudius, but these were different Hamlet and Claudius. The logic of their actions turned out to be different, and, therefore, the actions themselves. Andrey Chernov

Я був вражений, як Чернов зміг відтворити нюанси, які зазвичай залишаються непоміченими в традиційних інтерпретаціях. Його підхід до Гамлета та Клавдія надає новий сенс їхнім вчинкам, змушуючи читача задуматися над складністю людських стосунків і моральних виборів. Це не просто книга, а справжня подорож у світ шекспірівської драми, яка залишає глибокий слід у свідомості. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче зануритися в класичну літературу з новим поглядом!
