Book Communist postscript
The book “Communist Postscript” by philosopher and art theorist Boris Groys is an attempt to radically reorient modern theory from a discussion of the economic preconditions of politics (“the power of money”) to a discussion of politics as linguistic dominance (“the power of language”). According to the author, revolutions The twentieth centuries represented a reorientation of society from the medium of money to the medium of language, and in this sense they continue (through cultural memory) to carry out a genuine turn towards language at the level of social practice.
