Letkova “Flies” (“Russian Wealth”, October), Alexander Kipenev “Meteorological Station” (ibid) and M. Artsybashev “Crazy” (“World of God”, November). The heroes of these works are extremely uninteresting characters, typical “gray people”, “selfish people”... They all experience the drama of “lonely people”, and on the basis of this drama flowers of pessimistic moods grow..."
