Автор вміло створює атмосферу напруги, де кожен персонаж має свою таємницю, а сюжет закручується так, що важко передбачити наступний крок. Інспектор Джон Ребус - це не просто герой, а складна особистість, яка бореться з власними демонами, і його повернення до активного розслідування виглядає дуже органічно. Кожна деталь, починаючи від опису Единбурга до інтригуючих поворотів сюжету, робить цю книгу незабутньою. Я б рекомендував її всім, хто любить заплутані історії з глибокими персонажами та несподіваними розв'язками. Читання цієї книги стало для мене справжньою насолодою!
