Книга "Дамаск: Зворотний відлік" вражає своєю динамічністю та актуальністю сюжету. Автор майстерно поєднує політичні інтриги, шпигунські ігри та елементи напруженого екшену, що робить читання справжнім задоволенням. Сюжет розгортається на фоні реальних геополітичних подій, що додає йому правдоподібності та актуальності. Персонажі, зокрема Девід Ширазі, прописані дуже глибоко, і їхні переживання та моральні дилеми змушують задуматися про наслідки війни та агресії. Книга спонукає до роздумів про те, як легко може спалахнути конфлікт, і які наслідки це може мати для всього світу.
