Тім Леббон вміло поєднує в цій колекції шість новел, які занурюють читача в атмосферу безвиході та жаху. Кожна історія пропонує унікальний погляд на людське існування на межі виживання, змушуючи задуматися про природу страху та руйнації. Особливо вразила новела «Пекло», яка переносить читача у глибини людської душі, де страхи стають реальністю. Леббон майстерно грає зі сприйняттям реальності, показуючи, як психічні хвороби можуть стати нормою в нашому суспільстві.
